# eclypse-continuity · Python 0.2.0

Python 3.11+, standard library only. This is a downloadable local wheel, not a PyPI publication.

```sh
python -m pip install --no-index --no-deps ./eclypse_continuity-0.2.0-py3-none-any.whl
```

```python
from eclypse_continuity import ContinuityClient, blank_memory_draft
client = ContinuityClient(worker_key=your_scoped_worker_secret, enabled=True)
result = await client.pause_at_boundary_async(
    pause_seconds=30, trigger="task_boundary", consent=True, safe_boundary=True,
    idempotency_key=operator_generated_boundary_id,
)
```

Defaults are disabled. Worker keys only; no environment credentials are loaded. A pending request returns once without polling. Operator approval is separate. Only a cooperating caller at a safe boundary waits. Cancellation and failed resume never become a successful pause result.

Methods: `request_pause`, `get_pause`, `start_pause`, `resume_pause`, `cancel_pause`, `pause_at_boundary`, `create_memory_draft`, and `approved_memory`, each with an async variant. Existing checkpoint methods remain compatible. `blank_memory_draft` returns empty interchange fields; drafts are never approved or installed automatically.
