Defaults are disabled. Worker keys only; no environment credentials are loaded. A pending request returns once without polling. Operator approval is separate. Only a cooperating caller at a safe boundary waits. Abort propagates and never sends a false resume.

Methods: `requestPause`, `getPause`, `startPause`, `resumePause`, `cancelPause`, `pauseAtBoundary`, `createMemoryDraft`, and `approvedMemory`. Existing `checkpoint` remains compatible. `blankMemoryDraft` returns empty interchange fields; drafts are never approved or installed automatically.
